Over the Weekend

What a weekend it was.. full of food, football, family and fun!!

My Momma came to town on Friday to stay for the night. We all went out to eat at Little Tokyo for Ryan's (brother-in-law) birthday!! The Big 2-8. I seriously haven't gone to eat Hibachi in a year... crazy!! It was delicious and we were all so stuffed, we called it a night after dinner, in preparation for a long day of shopping on Saturday.

This weekend is a big one here in Mississip! It's "Mistletoe Marketplace" weekend, which is a Flea Market type set-up where stores from all over the U.S. come and set up booths with their merchandise. It's a 3 day event and it's huge and packed and is put on by the Jackson Junior League (yes, the same group from The Help). We got there right as it opened on Saturday morning, so it wasn't so crowded. We shopped til we dropped and I got a few Christmas presents purchased and out of the way. Whoop Whoop!! Then we headed to Vicksburg to the outlet mall, then on to Toys R Us for Little Hayesy some birthday and Christmas presents. I CANNOT believe Hayes will be 1 on Saturday. AB-SO-LUTE-LY CRA-ZY.... There is no way this was a  year ago.

The day after she was born.
This was her on Saturday at Toys R Us!!

On Saturday night we headed over to Cody and Krista's for hamburgers, hotdogs, a little LSU/Alabama football, a few beers and some Mississippi State football too, of course. I still can't believe we didn't go to the game. I feel like such a trader, but I do love the fact that I have a jump start on Christmas presents and got some much needed sleep. And we had to rest up for this Friday night in Starkvegas to see Jake Owen and a full day of tailgating on Saturday.

Speaking of sleep... We were in bed by 10:30 Friday night (lame) and then about midnight Saturday night, with an extra hour of sleep.... it was glorious. GLO-RI-OUS I tell ya!!

Ok let's be honest... with this extra hour, it seemed like Sunday lasted forever, not that I'm complaining. I was up and at 'em by 9:30. I ran some errands and purchased my first E.L.F. products (what are your favorites if you're an Elfer??). Made a run to Sephora... did ALL laundry (I hate when I get it all done bc then I have no where to put it ha!). Watched the Saints footbal... and some more football. Followed by steaks, baked potatoes, some strawberry shortcake and some Sons Of Anarchy.

All in all, it was fantastic

And I'm currently givng out a good ole fashioned butt whoopin' in fantasy football....
Fan-freakin-tastic!!!
