Tar-Jay Tuesday

I have to admit, I am unlike any other person out there... I am not particularly fond of Target.. (gasp... slap... unfriend) Let's get serious. Every time I say to a friend "O my gosh... that's so cute. Where did you get it?" Response: "Target." Seriously, it's so annoying bc every time I go there, I find NOTHING... not one article of clothing or one shoe that I would even think about trying on. How does everyone find these precious things and just purchased them like yesterday, then I go and they are no where to be found. Maybe our Target(s) just suck????

Anywho, the past three times I have been to Tar-Jay it has slowly started to redeem intself. AAAHHHHHH (angels singing). Now I have to admit, that these three times have probably spanned over 6 months. Yes, I have a Target 2 minutes from my house and have only been there three times in 6 months... maybe longer! That's just how mad it makes me.

But alas, I went to find pillows for my couch a few months ago... and VOILA!!! They were actually there.



Then about 2 weeks ago, I went (don't remember why) and I ran across The Bargain Blonde's fav E.L.F. makeup. They have little Christmas gift sets and the pricing is outrageous... outrageously cheap, that is!! If you need some good stocking stuffers or cheaper Christmas gifts for a work party or friend swap, please resort to the E.L.F. aisle immediately!!

I bought the eye shadow set for myself and have been using it for about 2 weeks now and it's probably the best eyeshadow I've ever had... For real. It doesn't crease immediately and the color actually shows up. I have dark skin and my family's skin absorbs color, so usually my eye shadow is non-existant in about an hour. Nope not this!!!

Ok, moving on the this weeks find!! Boots and Boot Socks!!

I seriously thought I hit the jackpot when I turned down the boot aisle.
They actually had a size 8... That never happens.
Maybe I should go on Sundays more often.

I purchased these maroon ones!!
I will be sporting them to the Egg Bowl fo sho!
The plain colors in these two packs are more of a regular sock with more stretch.
The others are more of a sweater sock.

Those oatmeal ones are perfect for the ole' Ugg Boots!!
To say that Target is redeeming itself is an understatement. I was like a little kid in a candy store on the boot and boot sock aisle. I could definitely have bought 2 or 3 more pairs of boots. That would be ok, right?? Since they are only $35....

Now go... hop, skip, jump, RUNNNN to Target and get yourself someone some Christmas goodies!!

    I used to used to never go to target when we lived in NC, but since I moved to cali its like an adventure. I dont know if our stores are better or if I jsut need things to be cheaper, but Im loving it. Great finds!

    I'm still trying to recover from the fact that you said you weren't obsessed with Target like 99.9% of the population of bloggers. At least you are redeeming yourself by showing us these great finds.

    1) UGH! I stillllll keep forgetting to go check out their elf holiday stuff. I'm seriously going directly to Target after work.

    2) I NEED those socks as well, thank you for sharing. I know a lot of people who have been on the hunt for boot socks. Thank you friend.

    and 3) I love those boots! I have a pair of riding boots from there as well that I adore.

    This post just got me really excited. I need some more throw pillows too. How much were those??

    hit up target today during my lunch hour. honestly i go to target more because of the food section they have, honestly to goodness that is the reason. but the boot socks i might need to go back tomorrow and buy me a pair they are super adorable. love the elf makeup review too callie i have seen that makeup and wasn't sure about it and now you have given me a reason to return to target soon

    i sorta live and breath target. i find myself there at least once a week. but... i'll admit, it's more of a get starbucks and browse type place. love these pillows you found. thanks for sharing.
