Wednesday's Wishlist

ARM CANDY EDITION

Who doesn't love a little arm candy? Whether it be bracelets, a purse, a watch or a handsome boy!

While I have all of the above, you can never have too many of any of them, except the boy, of course!!!

MAIN ARM CANDY:

ARM CANDY WISH LIST FOR SPRING/SUMMER:
(this is where the "champagne taste on a beer budget" occurs)

1) The first item on my wishlist is David Yurman, of course. Who doesn't want DY?? I have a couple of  peices already, but I really want a bracelet with pearls on it bc every peice of jewelry I own has pearls. I need one to match everything else, right??

2) I would love a John Wind bracelet. They are just so cute, but it just seems everytime I am in a store that has them, they are out of C's. Convenient huh?? (I will take a necklace too with a C & K, please and thank you!)

3) I would love a gold watch, a big gold watch, such as this one!! Yes, I know I am a little late on the trend, but I still want one.

4) A fun new purse for spring and summer!! For some reason, I'm really into red, yellow, melon and royal blue at the moment.

Love this! So simple, but reminds me of a beach bag, which makes me smile!

5) Another thing that I see so many people wearing is a BOH bracelet (Because of Him). I REALLY want one of these. So simple, but awesome!!

What are your arm candy essentials for spring/summer???

BAR B Q TIME!!

HELLO ALL!!
COME JOIN US

On Saturday, Kendol and I will be joining Wally and Stephanie to raise money for Relay for Life, which benefits the American Cancer Society. Stephanie and Wally have been really involved with this philanthropy for a few years now, and Kendol and I decided we should join in. This will be our first event to be a part of, along with our friends Cody and Krista.

The boys will be cooking grilled chicken and bbq. We will be selling plate lunches for $5.00 that include a meat and 2 sides. If these boys have anything to do with the cooking, I can GUARANTEE you it will be delicious.

Sooo... if you are in the Jackson area on Saturday, please come by and help us raise money for such an awesome cause! We will be on Old Canton at Front Gate Realty. I'm sure you won't be able to miss us. The flyer below has all of the details.

Wednesday's Wishlist

So, who out there doesn't have a wishlist?? If you don't... well.... maybe you need to get a life... Kidding... Kinda.... Lately it seems like I've wanted everything I see... expensive... cheap.. practical.. not practical..priceless.. Just everything!! Why is it, when you are trying to "save" money, you see and think of 10,000 more things that you want (and think you have to have) than you normally do? Don't get me wrong, I am incredibly blessed and have just about anything I could ever need, but isn't it fun to think about? A girl can dream, right?

WISHLIST

1) To have this stomach... which I am working towards with this dvd. I will let you know if I have a 6 pack in 6 weeks (I got jokes..)

2) To be able to make creamed spinach as good as Tico's and Char. I crave it on a daily basis. If you have a good recipe, pass it on!

3) This table, but in desk form for Kendol's office!! (I will take it in kitchen table form as well, if you just feel like buying me something) So if anyone sees a cute desk sized table anywhere that can be refinished... let a girl know!!

4) A snickers and a Sonic coke. I am trying my best to last until Easter without having chocolate or a soft drink, but I just freaking want them. It's really not that hard at all to not have them, believe it or not. It's more cruel than anything, to cut yourself off from such glorious things. I mean you only live once, you might as well live it up, right?? How fun would life be chocolateless and soft drinkless?? I'll answer that for you... NOT VERY FUN AT ALL.

5) For it to be football season already!! Thank goodness the spring game is in 2 weeks.

P.S. if anyone would like to bring a margarita to my cubicle that would be awesome. That way I can continue to play my music and pretend I'm outside on this gorgeous day.

I started this list and it could have gotten way out of hand, so I have decided to limit it to 5 so ya'll don't think I'm a crazy person. I will do my lists by category, different weeks!! This is going to be super fun. Please feel free to play along.

Lately....

Anyone else ever have those periods of time when it just seems like life is flying by?? That is me right now. I feel like Christmas was just yesterday. I guess it's bc we have just been so busy, but I still can't figure out what it is we've been so busy doing. This last week especially flew by. We just had something to do everyday, it seemed.

A few of the highlights.

First of all, of course we had a St. Patty's celebration. You know we couldn't just wait to celebrate on Saturday. We had beer brats (bratwursts) and homemade "chips." Yes, I, Callie Collins, tried a "brat." I absolutely hate a hotdog (almost as much as I hate mushrooms and jello), so for me, this was major. I smothered it in spicy mustard and ketchup. I actually ate the entire thing, and I have to admit that it wasn't bad. Actually it was good. Props to Master Griller Wally.

This celebration was followed by a last minute trip to Tico's on Friday night. I was so excited when we were asked to go. We don't go really often, so it's such a treat when we go. It's just so good!! If you haven't gone, it's a must.. if you're a steak kind of person!! O and don't forget the creamed spinach. It is the shizzzz.

This brings us to Saturday morning, bright and early. We were up and at 'em headed to the parade in all of our green glory. We have always steered clear of the mass chaos that is in front of the Hal & Mal's area, but this year Kendol and I braved the storm. Stephanie's family has a pretty sweet set up in the Martin's parking lot and the parking lot is blocked off, so it doesn't get really crowded. We were behind the crowd, but her daddy and uncle built a platform on a trailer for everyone to stand on and the rest of us made our home in the back of his truck. An elevated surface, out of the crowd, and our own porta- potty was like being in heaven at the parade haha!!

Two more classy ones!!
On Sunday, we went to eat lunch at PieWorks. YUM YUM YUM Everyone must try. Then we went on a Sunday afternoon drive to look at houses.. one of our favorite things to do. We know we won't be moving for another couple of years, but it's just so fun to go look at all of the new houses and take pictures of all the unique things people do to them. I have a feeling, when it's time for us to build, we will have everything perfectly planned out bc we plan it so often.

And this brings us back to Monday... I know I say this every week, but how in the world is it already Monday again. O well, hurry up Friday!!

Have a great week everyone!!
