Lady in Red

After a hellaciously miserable day yesterday, I am bound a determined to make this day better. I am too blessed to be stressed by the petty things/people of this world.

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3: 9 (needed to hear this a majorly)

So to recoop from my miserable mood, I began by screaming at the top of my lungs all the way home from work yesterday, like a crazy person. I'm sure the people in the cars beside me thought I was giving someone on speaker phone pure hell... but actually I was just talking to myself... Crazy, I tell ya! But it's amazing what a good scream can do you for you... or is it just me?

Then I headed to the gym to take more anger out on the treadmill and weight machines. Then Kendol cooked me supper (a healthy delicious supper at that). Things were looking up a bit.... a little bit... Then I got roped into an intense basketball game between Mississippi State and Baylor. We didn't win, but played a d*mn good game and they beat us by 2 in the last few seconds. So back to the mood I started out in...

Get up this morning... fresh start?? NOPE... the blow dryer quits after about 5 seconds. Instant bad mood. I have no time for this nor do I want to spend my money on a new blow dryer. (this is where you throw out your ideas for best/fastest blow dryer, please... and muchas gracias mi amigas!)

I have been listening to Grace Potter on pandora all morning and gave in to my hot chocolate with caramel craving, so I'm trying my best to get over this mood I'm in. Then, all of a sudden, I remembered all of the fantabulous pins I found on pinterest last night during the basketball game. So, since they have helped put me in a better mood (a little bit), I thought I should share them with you.

Let me preface these pins a bit. A few weeks ago, at our friend Thanksgiving feast, my friend Stephanie's Mom gave me an awesome compliment. I wore a red blouse and she says, "Red is definitely your color Callie, it looks GREAT on you!" I was stunned. I never wear red and I told her that, to which she says, "well you definitely should wear more of it!" (Thanks Mrs. Sandy!) So here I have been for the last month + searching for red clothes. I have always steered clear of red, bc sometimes it can look cheap, depending on the material, plus it can be very bold. Well last night, I ran across a fabulous red/white dress on pinterest and then that sent me into a "red" pinning frenzy. If I'm going to start wearing a new color, I have to be a master at how to pull it off. So here goes my ideas!!

This is the dress I ran across on last night, that started the whole frenzy. Isn't it adorbale?

Need a pop of color?? Red lips are gorg! I actually do this all the time.

Simple/Classic red dress that can be worn with fun printed heels!

Red Skinnies. I have been wanting some of these for a while.

A-Dor-A-Ble red pencil skirt with printed top.
Red always looks good with black/white, Navy/White or an animal print.
P.S. I saw where Poor Little It Girl was looking for a red pencil skirt this morning. It says this one is from J. Crew.

Then, of course, red is always a great pop of color in an accessory, whether it be shoes, clutch, belt, jewelry... etc.

Red and Glitter... Can never go wrong..

Simple. Red. Animal print. Black. White. Perfection.

Mr. Kors... My favorite! He'll never let you down.

Classic TB's.

Fabulous..

I'm a sucker for a hat.. Always have been. Always will be.

Also, I'm a HUGE sucker for a scarf... HUGE SUCKER...

Happy Thursday Pretties!!
Be Bold!
