What's a girl to do when the Hubs is away for work?

Glass of Wine? Absolutely
Long Bath? Absolutely.

Make a Dirt Cake? Abso-Freakin-lutely!
Why make a dirt cake you ask?
Because..

Where does the time go?
I feel like we were just in the backyard flipping on our red balance beam.
Yes, we had a red balance beam in our backyard... with a white sponge paint job.
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTA GIRL!!
A Dirt Cake was only fitting, right?
I mean you only turn thirty once..
I have not had one of these in years...
like years and years...
So glad I thought of doing this bc it was ridiculously good.
DIRT CAKE
Chocolate Cake (Box)
2 Chocolate Puddings
1 Large Cool Whip
2 8oz. Cream Cheese
Oreos
Make cake as directed on box.
Make pudding as directed on box.
Mix cool whip and cream cheese in mixer.
Crush Oreos.
Layer:
Crumbled Cake
Pudding
Cool Whip Mixture
Oreos
REPEAT

ReplyDeletemy friend made the cutest dirt cake for another friend's dirty 30! she put it in a plastic pail with gummy worms on top, and it was amazing. love the idea!! :)
